Widely referred to as the “Road to Las Vegas,” the Regional Series is the masonry industry’s most notorious event that tests the speed, skill, and stamina of bricklayers by determining who can build the highest and best 26-foot-long brick wall, in only one hour. The stakes are high as only one mason per regional competition will advance to Las Vegas at the World of Concrete trade show on January 19th, 2022 with a chance to win the title, “World’s Best Bricklayer.” The contest’s total payday is valued at over $125,000, with its freshly named champion winning a new FORD F-250 4×4 Super Duty truck coupled with $15,000 in cash and prizes.

In support of the campaign’s workforce development drive, at 12 separate regional events SPEC MIX will host JR. BRICKLAYER 500 competitions created for high school students and apprentices pursuing a career in masonry. The JR. SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500® competitions put masonry’s up and coming bricklayers on the world’s biggest stage to showcase their drive and skills. Competitors will be given 20 minutes to build an abbreviated version of the journeymen’s competition to show they’ll soon be job site ready.
