The winners of each regional series competed in Las Vegas at the World of Concrete trade show on January 18th, 2023 with a chance to win the title, “World’s Best Bricklayer.” The contest’s total payday was valued at over $125,000, with its freshly named champion winning a new FORD F-250 4×4 Super Duty truck, an Essick Pro12 Mixer, and $15,000 in cash and prizes.

In support of the campaign’s workforce development drive SPEC MIX also hosted multiple JR. BRICKLAYER 500 competition created for high school students and apprentices pursuing a career in masonry. The JR. SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500® competitions put masonry’s up and coming bricklayers on the world’s biggest stage to showcase their drive and skills. Junior competitors were given 20 minutes to build an abbreviated version of the journeymen’s competition to show they’ll soon be job site ready.
