26-year-old Victor Perez has been with his company, ABW Masonry, for 8-years. Bricklaying has always been a part of his family, and he is proud to continue the tradition.

Perez laid 605 brick in the Louisiana Regional, without practicing. He got ready by working hard as a brick mason every day and he plans to do the same for Las Vegas.

Being a part of the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 is an honor for Perez. He said, “It highlight’s our trade while showing how competition can be fun. Hopefully it encourages others to want to be a part of what we do.”

Perez enjoys watching sports in his spare time, and plans to celebrate with his family if he wins the title, “World’s Best Bricklayer.”
