TENDER: MARK WELLS JR.
This will be the fourth appearance at the World Championships for 52-year-old mason Mark Wells Sr. and his son/tender Mark Wells Jr.
Wells Sr. picked up the trade from his brother, and now has close to forty years of experience as a mason. His passion for his work carried over to his son, and the duo are becoming regulars in Las Vegas.
Mark is hoping his years of experience will help him win the title, but knows he has some work to do to build on his 480 brick count he posted in the Northeast Regional. His goal at every event is to lay as many perfect brick as possible, and he plans to continue striving to build great walls. But if he finds his way on the top of the winner’s podium, he’ll be taking the scenic route all the way home to New Jersey in his brand new Ford F250 4×4.
Wells Sr. would like to thank his family for all their support in getting him to another World Championship.
