Project Info
This new construction sits on a 1.6 acre site in the heart of Milwaukee’s Park East corridor, the structure’s neo-classical architecture materializes the company’s history of success and the iconic legacy of its owner. The design, in grand Jeffersonian style, intends to seize the opportunity to elevate the aesthetic of the entire area.
Todd Higgins, Director of Masonry for Miron Construction said this about the project, “The heart of Milwaukee recently gained new infrastructure with the construction of the Hammes Company’s new corporate headquarters. The Hammes Company’s Block 16 Office Building & Parking Structure is the epitome of craftsmanship. The extreme level of detail and complexity with the project required that the best products and craftsmanship were combined to create the best product for the client. The product – Quikrete (Spec Mix) – was one of the most important factors in ensuring that the project was indeed a success. Spec Mix’s flexibility helped Miron Construction maintain manageable delivery loads within a tight project site. Working hand in hand with Miron, Spec Mix delivered the highest quality product that was required for the project. The steadfast relationship between Miron and Spec Mix was an essential factor in the success of the Block 16 Office Building project.”
